Growing up in Stratford, Prince Edward Island, music has always been a driving force for Logan Richard. After picking up the guitar at the age of ten, he quickly became known among the local blues crowd as a force to be reckoned with, drawing inspiration from the likes of John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Colin James.
At age twelve, he formed a blues group with friends called “Ripped Paper”, and the band played venues all over Prince Edward Island. Since then, Logan has been a part of a few other groups such as The Elusive Kings, Generator and The Love Junkies.
In 2017, Logan started his solo career and has been selling out shows at local venues The Guild, The Trailside and has headlined PEI TD Jazz and Blues Festival since that time. In addition to his young solo career, Logan Richard has appeared with the likes of MonkeyJunk, Tim Chaisson, Steve Strongman, Paper Lions, and has opened for and played with Rachel Beck.
Logan is almost finished writing his next album, and is now getting ready to go back into the recording studio.
